170510 Shopping in Germany

On Wednesday the 10th of May, 2017, after breakfast we made a journey to Germany for shopping. On our way before leaving Arisdorf, Switzerland, we visited Mr. Raymond Petitjean to have a tea in his house. He really has a cute and a beautiful home and a nice garden. In this garden is an automatic controlled mower which works by itself. After which he gave us some stuffs as a gift which really interested us most. He is such a gentle and kind young man. We left there and continued our journey.

We went to Bad Sackingen in Germany for the shopping. When we got there, we had something to eat there and from the restaurant we went to see the bridge that connects and carry people from Switzerland to Germany and back. I think Switzerland is well organized because the road demarcation and the indications on the road are not seen in Germany.

We went to the chapel to see how the inside was and to pray. It was beautiful with what we saw. From there we went to the shop to buy some presents to bring to Ghana. We saw so many things that we didn't know what to buy from the many but fortunately for us, we were able to buy something. GOTT SEI DANK!!!. We came back home from there.
We prepared to leave for the gospel workshop day 2, which was more fun than  before. I felt God visited me today when i sang. Am always grateful to GOD for the strength he always gives to me. Everyone was happy to see us three (the TRIO). We came home after then.

170509 To the Quarry and Church Workshop

Today the 9th of May, 2017, after a good night sleep, we decided to do some cleaning in the house. The chimney cleaning specialist called Kaminfeger came to clean the black stuffs in the chimney. There was a woman who also mob and cleaned the house and we also clean the window glasses and did some plant cutting, these plants are not suppose to be where they are. We weeded some places that the mower can not get there after which we cut the grasses with the mower. We did that with our mum and it was fun. She was very happy we did that and it was our pleasure to also do that.

After lunch we went to Nuglar to visit Fritz Surer's quarry company, where the stones are broken into different sizes ready for construction. This rich, humble and gentle man who happens to be the boss of the company was in this new tractor that is used to hummer bigger rocks him self working very hard. I really love the way he works. He surprised us with a gift and i was over and over whelmed, i didn't know what to say, he is very kind and loves to share what he *has with the needy, he has such a big heart.  He stopped what he was doing and took us round and showed us what they do there, then we came home from there. On our way home, we passed by a shop to buy some few stuffs that will be needed at home.

After a meal we had at home, we left to a church called Mischeli in Reinach for a music workshop for a performance on Saturday. This workshop we had was beautiful. We had these great men, Michael the organist and his wife Carmenda and Floyd T. Myrie. Everyone was happy to see us and we all song very well. Auntie Ruth with her beautiful voice and Emmanuel and myself, we made a nice combination. We were happy to be part of them. You are all welcome if only you are around and can make it, thanks very much

170508 Water Recycling and Animal Farm

On the 8th of May, 2017, we went to the water treatment plant in Birsfelden called Ara Birs. Basel (Switzerland) has five(5) bigger plants and 22 smaller ones. The first two that was built in a very long time was built in the year 1963 and 1977 and was renovated and re-modernized in 2007. The company's name Ara Birs was derived from a river called Aare which passes through Bern, Solothun and Aargau and its mouth enters the Rhein river. They recycle rain water, waste water from habitat and water from roadside. The waste water of about 1000 habitat goes to Ara Birs for treatment.During raining season, they are able to collect about 4000 cubic meter of water everyday for treatment.
The recycling goes through 4 processing, first it goes through mechanical cleaning, where bigger particles are separated from the water then from there it goes through another mechanical cleaning where smaller particles are separated from the water and to the chemical processing where more oxygen is added to the water and in the next process the water is allowed to settle and some of the sewage sludge that settled is collected into the digester chamber to produce methane gas to produce about 40% of electricity they use. They have solar panels all round that produces about 25% to 30% of electricity and in all they produce about 65 to 70% themselves. We were also favored by one of their bosses who decided to buy us three tickets to watch F.C. Basel soccer match on Sunday. We came home from there.

After supper we went to Auntie Regula's farm to see what they do there. It was really nice. The whole family are hard workers. The dad, the mum and the children. We saw the fat cows they had, the fat dog and cats, the fat and sporty horses, the rabbits and how the milk was taken from this fat cows. The machines and the processes used there were beautiful. We had the chance to taste some cold fresh milk and to ride on the horse back. It was really fun. All the cows had there names and even the dog was called Deeva, it was lovely. On the farm, nothing goes waste, the water from the home of the farmer and his children which is on the farm goes into a big tank and its used to water the the plants to be sold and the grasses to feed the animals during summer. The droppings of the cows are used as manure to fertilize the land for planting. The milk of the cows collected are sold and they are able to collect about 1400 litre s of milk per day.

After there I went to play soccer with DEF.C.

170507 Service to GOD

I was glad when they said unto me, let us go into the house of the Lord. Today happens to be the day we visited the Elizabeth church in Basel where we heard different beautiful and nice voices from the old, middle age and the young. They were yodeling and it was very nice. There were this group of men who came there playing  different sizes of Alpenhorn and it was marvelous. We really had fun today.

This happened on Sunday the 7th of May, 2017, after breakfast, a friend of Auntie Ruth called Auntie Regula picked us up with her car at 9:00am exactly to church but on the way we stopped at Muttenz to pick a tram to the church. At Muttenz, we met a friend of Auntie Regula called Auntie Brigitte who joined us to the church.

After enjoying the music and filling our souls, we came back home, ate some nice delicious meal prepared by Auntie Ruth and at 17:00 we went for a church service again in Aridorf. There I prayed for myself and everyone, including you reading this.
