170514 Going to Stadium after Church Service

This is the day which the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it. Today the 14th of May, 2017 is a Sunday and it is a must that we go to praise God, so we did exactly that. After breakfast we went to church, we sang all the songs we learnt during the workshop, we heard the word of God and I had to do the leading again and it was nice. After which Emmanuel and I sang a nice song together to Auntie Ruth as her mothers day gift and it was lovely.

We had a drink with those who sang after church, we informed everyone we were going to leave in the coming week and they started missing us already. We had the chance to interact with everyone and I was happy.

After having the drink we left to pick a tram to Gellertstrasse 235 where the St. Jakob's Stadium is. We entered and I tell you, it was great fun. We watched a soccer match between F.C. Basel and Thun F.C. and they all played very well. There was a tie, both team scored 3. The stadium was very nice. We went back to the church place to pick our car back home.

In the evening, Raymond and his wife, Jasmine came home to celebrate mother's day with his mum. We ate together and had discussion about certain things and the wished us well. It was fun being around him and his wife. We gave our mum, Auntie Ruth a mother's day present and it was wow.

170513 Trimming Hedges and LIve Gospel Concert

We had a wonderful time today, it was one of the happiest day. The 13th of May, 2017, after breakfast we trimmed the hedges of the plants around the house and it was done very well. One of our neighbours called Christie saw the good work we did and she asked us if we could help her with hers and our answer was "why not". Immediately we finished ours we jumped unto hers to do justice to it. We did a clean job and she was happy about that. After the work we ate something and prepared to leave for the Gospel Concert and holala, it was mmmwaaaaa.

We had fun at the concert and we thank God for a successful program. God had his way and it was beautiful. Raymond and his wife came, Auntie Theres and her husband Uncle Werner also came and Auntie Margaret also came. I was given the opportunity to lead the choir in one of the songs and God had His way through my ministration. I was blessed and happy.

After the concert we had a drink with the organizers of the program and all the members and i was happy being among them. They are all nice people and we had surprises from them but am sorry we keep the surprises to ourselves 😁😁😁😁😁. We thank the Almighty God for such a wonderful and beautiful day He gave us.

170512 In Zurich

We were in Zurich on the 12th of May, 2017. We left home 11:00am after having our breakfast to Liestal to board a train. We joined the train from Liestal to Zurich in Bahnhofplatz and at the station we met this old friend of our mum called Ronnie and his wife, Mallice. The man told us about 400,000 people board train there everyday and you could see the town is a busy one. This town is a business and banking center in Switzerland with many banks and tall buildings. We saw the statue of the who brought railways to the country and he was called Alfred Escher.

From the train station we joined a tram to the FIFA WORLD FOOTBAL MUSEUM. Wow, it was beautiful. Ronnie, Emmanuel an myself had a ticket to go through the museum and it was fun. Our mum and Auntie Mallice waited for us at a coffee shop.

From there we went to the lake at Burkliplatz, we took a boat to have fun on the lake and it was a nice experience. Before we went for the boat, Ronnie and his wife left home and we continued.

From there we went to ETH Zurich University at Ramistrasse 101 to do some inquiries but the desk was closed because we got there late at 17:30 and they close at 17:00. We came home from there.
