260523 - Trip to Winterthur on Pentecost Week (Afropfingsten) Festival

 On this day, PP and Auntie Ruth organized for me to join these beautiful culture dance people (Flavia, Alidu and Merigah) to go with them for their performance at Winterthur. Alidu and Merigah are from Ghana and they mostly do their performances in the National Theatre in Accra. PP took me to the train station (Liestal) around 12:00 noon to meet this people and at the train station, we met Franziska and her senior brother Andrea who happens to be part of them. We went to meet Andrea's girlfriend there and she was also a nice person to be with.

I had lots of fun and the performance of these guys were spectacular. It was a very big festival which according to them, it happens every year. There were lots of different groups and people from different parts of the world mostly from Africa, some are selling cultural products from Africa and some are also selling different traditional dishes representing the main culture of their African country. There were lots of street foods and you will love it. It  was beautiful and interesting. We had a lot of fun and everyone was happy. I was also able to make new friends and I was very happy meeting them.

We finished there at about 22:00 and came back with the train to Liestal at about 00:00 and PP came to pick me up there to the house. I was glad I went for the program. Below are some pictures I took on this day:
