260606 - Return to The UK

 On this day of my return to the UK, just after breakfast I got ready because PP and Auntie Ruth were supposed to go to Zurich for a program at 10:30am and my flight was at 14:50. So they had to drop me off at their son's (Raymond) place and at 12:00 he took me to the airport (EuroAirport, Basel). 

At the airport, my flight was delayed for about 50 minutes before boarding and my next flight was supposed to be 1 hour 10 minutes after I arrive but because of the delay, I could not make it to the next flight which was supposed to be at 17:00. So I was rebooked for 20:00 flight and even that, we started boarding at about 20:30 and came with an empty plane with about only 15% - 20% of it capacity. When I got to London, Heathrow Airport, my train ticket to Hull became invalid because the purchase was inline with the initial ticket time which is 2 hours 10 minutes time after I arrive at Heathrow but with the delay, that time train was already gone. I was able to make it to London Kings Cross and I got there at about 22:50 and the last train to Hull was at 22:20 so I could not make it home.

I had to stay at the train station over night and the next train was supposed to be at 08:40am the next morning. I joined that train and had to pay another money for that journey. I ended up paying £50 and got home at about 12:00 noon. The journey was so stressful and I was so tired and exhausted.

260605 - Cleaning the House, Washing the Car, Buying Chocolate from Shop.

 On this last day here, just after breakfast, I told Auntie Ruth I wanted to help in cleaning the spider webs up the ceiling. I did justice to that clean and dusted, hovered the floor then PP and I went to ALDI to get me the Switzerland Hat and Shirt then from there, we went to the Chocolate Supermarket to get me some chocolates and we drove back home. 

When we came, ELEON which is the grandson of Auntie Ruth was ready and waiting for me for us to wash the car. I quickly changed and we did justice to the car clean and dusted. After which Auntie Ruth, Eleon and I went into the camper for some snacks and fruits. From there, I went down to prepare to go for Auntie Ruth's family gathering because some of her relatives which I met in 2017 when I was here wanted to see me. There are Uncle Ruedi, Auntie Caterine, Auntie Margaret and the Husband who has a plane simulator at home which I was taught how to fly and land a plane safely. But the husband did not come. They were all happy to see me and I was also happy to see them.

From there we drove back home and PP and I came for some grilling and enjoyed ourselves. It was fun my whole time of stay over here from day one. Every moment and every bit of what happened was memorable moment that will never erase from my head.

I say a very big THANK YOU to Auntie Ruth, PP, Raymond and Eleon for accepting me into their home to stay and experience Switzerland again. I also say a very big Thank You to all the other people who also received me with love, those who invited and welcomed me into their homes for a meal and chat like Flavia, Helga, Auntie Verena, Franziska, Michelle and anyone whose name has not been mentioned, I say GOD BLESS YOU ALL. I will be leaving tomorrow back to the UK, and all the memory is going to live with me forever.

260604 - Visit to Flavia Robin to Eat Fufu with Peanut Soup

 On this day just after breakfast, there was a down pour of rain through out the day. So we stayed indoors and had a special guest who came to visit because of me and her name was Mrs Regula. She happen to be a very good friend the last time I came to Switzerland. She used to be Auntie Ruth and PP's Tuesday Daughter about 20 years ago.

After that, Raymond and Eleon his son came and  we had lunch together with the meal prepared by PP. After lunch, Raymond left for work and I had to come to my room to study and rest for a while. I was invited by Flavia to come have dinner with her and her 2 guest (Alidu and Merigah). The prepared Fufu and Groundnut soup, and the 4 of us dined and it was a lot of fun. PP took me there and left and later came for me when I was ready to leave.

260603 - Working at the Pond

 On this day, just after breakfast, PP and I went to fix the pond which was built for Auntie Ruth on her 40th birthday and she is now 77 years old, so that is about 37 years of age. But before that, we had a little rain so we decided to check the pipes connected to the reservoir for any leakage. Lo and behold, we found places where the problems and leakages were. To be able to fix them, we needed extra pipes so we drove to the shop in Kaiserhof to purchase one. We came back to fix that problem and had to leave there to continue with the pond fixing.

With the pond, there was leakage, so all the water has left the pond and the edges of the pond were stones arranged. Before anything can be done, all the stones must be removed from the edges to be able to look for the where the problem is to allow all the water out. In the process of removing the stones from the edges, I came across a baby grass snake which got me scared and that made me to stop working. From there, I informed Auntie Ruth and PP, stopped working and came inside to shower and waited for dinner.

260602 - A visit to the Wine and Jin Factory, to the Chocolate Factory and to Auntie Verena

 On this day, PP and I went to visit the factory in Arisdorf that produces wine and Jin then from there we went straight to the chocolate factory. We didn't get the opportunity to go to the factory production area but was fortunate to go to the shop where their products were being sold called Schoggihüsli (Link to read more: Schoggihüsli). The place has so many different types, kinds and flavors. We even saw one that was made without any choco or cocoa but tastes good.

From there we came back home to prepare to drive to Auntie Verena's place because she wanted to see me before I leave. We went there for the visit and had dinner there. It was fun there and after that we came back.

260601 - Return Journey from Nendaz Back to Arisdorf

 On this day, we made a return journey to Arisdorf, on our way back just after descending the mountain at Route De Nendaz, we went to this Wine Boutique called Château Constellation (Link to read more: Château Constellation - Vineyard, Winery, Wine cellar in Valais). There were fine wines there and some that were preserved to be bottled after some years to make it a nice wine. From there we visited some other wine factory like the St. Pierre  and some others.

From there went straight through Bern which is the capital of Switzerland to see the Bears and also visit the government house and the embassies but the road was confusing so we looked at it from afar and did not go there. We were able to see the 2 bears there and they were marvelous. From Bern, we headed straight home. PP promised to prepare me a very nice Swiss Traditional meal called FONDUE (Link to read more: Fondue: A Swiss tradition with depth) so that was what we had for dinner when we came back. This meal happens to be one of the their special meal which they always enjoy during winter and cold weathers. Today was not that much cold but we had it. It was nice.
