On the 2nd of May, 2017, at about 11:00am, Auntie Ruth drove us to
Basel. We went to a park to park our car and from there we went to
Museum fur Geschichte. We were told it was a cathedral but it is now
used as a restaurant and a museum. We saw some instrument used in the
chemical industry also in the museum and we were told that men in those
time were mainly in the production of chemicals and that were some of
the instrument they use.
We
went to big fountain from there, we sat there to eat something and it
will surprise you the kind of visitors we got to join us. It was the
pigeons, they could even fly and land on our hands to eat what was in
our palm, it was beautiful. After eating we went to the Elizabert Church
and the church was beautiful, from there we come to the train station
to meet Auntie Ruth's sister, Auntie Kathrin who was very nice like her
sister. She was very nice and friendly, we chat and had a meal with us
and from there we passed by a shop and Auntie Kathrin bought us shirts,
they are very beautiful.
We
went to this big cathedral close to the Rhein river which has the
Georgs Tower with Georg on the horse piercing a dragon's mouth with an
arrow and Martins Tower with Martin sharing his clothes to the poor. We
went round it and finally decided to climb high to the Georgs tower, but
unfortunately Auntie Kathrin had to leave for an appointment so the
three of us climb to the highest top of Georgs tower and it was
beautiful with the archetecture high there. I was marveled with what I
saw. We came down from there to take a ferry to cross the Rhein river to
Basel small city from Basel big city. We walked along the river, passed
on a bridge to the car park and from there we came back home.
