260526 - Picking Strawberries, Clearing the Walkway in the Garden to the water reservoir and Visiting a Neighbor

 On this day, just before breakfast, Auntie Ruth and I drove to a nearby farm at Geibenach to pick strawberries and it was fun. The nice thing about you picking for yourself is you pay almost half price per Kg of the price if the farmer picks them himself. So we had about 3Kg. Interestingly, you could eat as much as you want in the farm😅. After that we drove back home to have our breakfast.

After breakfast, PP and I went straight into the garden to clear the path to the rain water reservoir behind the garden which was constructed about 50 years ago. The reason for the digging was because the water was not flowing any more so were checking for leakages or damages. Then Auntie Ruth prepare something nice and called us to eat for energy before we continue with the work, that was so sweet and nice of her. We had to stop along the way because the sun was too hot (around 30 °C) and I plan to wake up early to do it before PP wakes up😄. 

The PP and I freshened up and drove down to a neighbor friend called Michelle and Beat Voyer (couples) somewhere behind the big church in Arisdorf. This woman also help by supporting people in Africa (Uganda). We went there to have a good chat with she and her husband. She was planning then drove back to go to Uganda and we were discussing the current situation (EBOLA Disease) so she has to consider very well before making the decision. Then we drove back home. We had a very nice dinner and I was very happy with the meal.
